One of the most common exercises we recommend to our patients is walking outdoors.

Walking…

  • is low impact but still has important health benefits (reduction in risk of some diseases, improved joint function)
  • can be done by almost anyone at anytime
  • gets you outside, allows the mind to relax and unwind

If you’re struggling to find time to exercise, incorporating walking into your day is a good way to squeeze it in – walk to work, take a walk on your lunch break, or make it part of a social activity on the weekend.
